FIRE AT HAMEL’S CORNER

The one-story frame building in Hamel’s Corner, owned by C. H. Gaerdner and occupied by him as a general store and saloon, together with the larger portion of its contents, was destroyed by fire about eight o’clock last Saturday morning. The value of the property was about as follows: building $600.00, store and saloon furniture and fixtures $2,000, stock of general merchandise $3500.
